Pilates for Athletes is part the online studio and includes Pilates, Barre and Yoga classes designed with endurance athletes in mind. In my eyes, if you exercise on purpose, you are an athlete. Endurance sport is a big part of my life, as someone who previously participated in triathlons and long distance running, plus having a partner who is a professional triathlete. I know that training loads are intense, and often the first thing to be skipped is strength work. But I can see the enormous benefits that a regular Pilates and Yoga practice can offer, including building a strong core centre, increasing mobility, addressing muscular imbalances, providing a low-impact method of conditioning and in turn, preventing future injuries. This online library is made for those who are looking to add Pilates and yoga into their routine in a way that is accessible, fun and convenient in their weekly routine.
